Boyfriend got another girl pregnant

Dear Pastor,

I have been a regular reader of your column. I am 19 and I am living with my boyfriend. This man knows I love him world without end. I am not his only girlfriend. He told me that I would have to prove that I am the one he wants. This other girl is 18. He told me that she told him that she was pregnant for him and he should ask me to leave because, as his babymother, they should be living together. I am not leaving, because she was wrong to be careless and get pregnant. This girl has other boyfriends. She denies it but people on the street know. I don't have any place to go. My parents told me when I was leaving that, if I got into trouble, I should not come back. So I cannot go back home. My boyfriend told me that, if he gets me pregnant, then the other girl would have nothing to say because I would have 'claim' on him. I don't want to have a baby right now.

Dear Anonymous,

This man has not hidden that he has another woman in his life and he wants you to know that he wants you to be a very outstanding woman for him to remain with you. There is nothing extraordinary about this man. He is just 'facety' and out of order and thinks a lot about himself. You should not have left home to go and live with him. But I do not think it is too late to tell your parents that you wish to return home. Let them know that you have made a mistake and you want to come home. Your parents are likely to take you back. My suggestion to you is that you end this relationship with this guy and return home.
