19 rivers, 17 beaches ordered closed for COVID breaches

Local Government Minister, Desmond McKenzie, has ordered the closure of 17 beaches and 19 rivers for breaches of the COVID-19.

McKenzie says operators have been invited to a meeting to discuss the concerns, but in the interim, the rivers and beaches will be closed for 14 days effective Friday, August 14.
