Tempo says these are the last days
For Quazi Fuller, the decision to venture into entertainment was easy as he has been freestyling and writing since he was a first-form student at the Ocho Rios High School in St Ann.
Though his endgame was always music, he understood the importance of a solid foundation and furthered his studies at St Monica's College in the parish.
The artiste, who now goes by the moniker Tempo, began doing music professionally in 2019 and has been fervently working on mastering his craft. He made his debut with the single When We Roll Out, which granted him a worthy entrance as the single copped a favourable amount of airplay. Tempo is currently promoting his single Last Days, set to be released by month end.
"The journey into music has been a very educational one because I learn as I go along and that is how I am able to fuel my music, because I draw inspiration from everything around me. I am currently signed (to Jumpstart Music) and I am thankful that a team saw my talent and decided to aid me with my growth," said Tempo.
Though the artiste has only released snippets of the single on social media for promotional purposes, he shares that it has been receiving a great deal of online attention with disc jocks reaching out for the official track.
"I believe the single is so deeply anticipated because of the relatability of the song... many would agree that we are indeed in the last days. The momentum the single has been building before its release pushed me to shoot the official video and the director captured the essence of the video fully," he said.
