Shandiva empowers women on ‘Boss Chick’
In May, recording artiste Shandiva released the single titled Boss Chick that she said is aimed at empowering women to be individuals.
"It's for them to embrace their confidence and stand on their own while never forgetting to strive for the best and to remember that growth is achieved in every step," the artiste explained. Since its release, the track has been met with positive feedback, for which the artiste is grateful.
"The feedback, likes, comments and DMs never stop, and the greatest thing for me is that they come from all sides of the spectrum. My music empowers strength, confidence and pride," she said. As the song's popularity continues to grow, she hopes to reach the ears of many women around the world who could benefit from the message.
"I'm hoping that my new track will reach the open market and be appealing to people from all walks of life. My goal is for it to become a new anthem for women worldwide," she added.
Currently based in Canada, the Jamaican artiste has been in the game for the past two years, showcasing her talent through dancehall and reggae sounds. Prior to Boss Chick, she released You Alone and was also featured on the We Ready rhythm, produced by DJ Lethal Vybz, on Trueace's track, Wutless Man.
There are several new projects in the pipeline, including an EP and numerous collaborations.w
