Patrons let loose at I Love Soca

Months of lockdown resulting in a lack of live events came to an end for some soca lovers on Wednesday with the first staging of I Love Soca in Jamaica since December 2019.

The Stadium East venue in St Andrew was the place to be for the party-starved patrons, and they made full use of the opportunity to once again 'wuk up' now that the entertainment sector has been reopened. COVID-19 protocols did not hamper the mood, as with juggling from various selectors keeping the right vibe for the duration, and performances from Yaksta, D'Yani, Laa Lee and Bounty Killer, there was plenty to enjoy.
