Chug It Florida welcomes Spice
Party giant Chug It has welcomed the Queen of Dancehall and Love and Hip-Hop star Spice on board for its event, which is scheduled to be held on September 5 in Miami, Florida.
This year's staging of the event will be held during the much anticipated Labour Day Weekend holiday in the US, on day one of the Sunshine Liquor Festival, a two-day event which also features the water party Mayhem on September 6.
Andrew 'French' Wright, the Chug It promoter, states that anticipation for the event is immense.
"Now that the original brand is coming to the United States, our base is riled up. They know exactly what to expect when they hear that we're coming, and they know we'll deliver. Our super early bird tickets, in conjunction with the Sunshine Liquor Festival, sold out within hours of the release on all website platforms and needless to say, we are all very pleased," he said. "The hotel packages we recently released are also selling out fast. Our presold tickets have been restocked based on the increasingly great demand."
Spice is no stranger to performing at jam-packed venues and is always a crowd favourite for her elaborate and captivating performances. Since expanding her career as a featured cast member on the hit TV series Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta, which is currently in its 10th season, her music career has catapulted even further. Her recent collaboration with Shaggy and Sean Paul on the single Go Down Deh, has been dominating global reggae and dancehall charts since its release.
When asked about the decision to feature Spice at the event, Wright said: "We are committed to giving our patrons the best in everything. What better artiste to feature at the event than the Queen of Dancehall herself? When we make any decision, we always look to the top first for selection, so that's how we came about booking Spice."
The September 5 edition is also the anniversary staging of Chug It, which promises to be the biggest staging yet. Patrons can expect a wide array of inclusive drinks from the event's massive 'Drink all you can bars', a vast variety of delicious inclusive Caribbean cuisine from the 'Eat all you can food courts' and an overall stellar entertainment package.
