Hype Type readies ‘Zion Boss’ EP
Having made a strong impact on the local music scene earlier this year with his breakthrough single, My God Love Me, dancehall artiste Hype Type plans to take his career to the next level with the release of his debut EP.
"The time is right for me to do something much bigger now. I am going to drop my first EP in August. I want to take my career to a higher level," he said.
The seven-track EP, which is titled Zion Boss, will feature a mixture of dancehall and reggae songs.
"A lot of people are going to be surprised when they hear this EP. I'm going all out on this project. I want it to be something that my fans will cherish forever. I want to etch my name amongst the greats in dancehall music," he said.
Hype Type delivered a crowd-pleasing performance recently at the Florida Jerk Festival, at the Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach.
"It felt so good to connect with my fans at the Florida Jerk Festival. It was my first live performance in a very long time. I delivered a very engaging performance, and the crowd enjoyed it," said Hype Type.
