Silva Don has a ‘dancehall philosophy’

Recording artiste Silva Don is currently promoting his latest single, Dancehall Philosophy.

"It's a lyrical song. It's me talking about dancehall and how I approach the music with my versatility and potent lyrics," he said. Since the song's release, it has been receiving quite a bit of traction locally and gaining steam on the international market.

"To be completely honest, the feedback on the song has been extremely overwhelmingly positive. I have huge expectations for this track, following its success, and have envisioned receiving nothing less than a Grammy Award for it," he said. "People have been adding me to their playlists. DJs play my song on the radio all the time. I get more views and subscribers. The overall reception has been simply wonderful."

The song is a mixture of dancehall with elements of hip hop and trap.

"What ultimately sets me apart from everyone else is my eagerness to be different and willingness to be consistent. I spend a lot of time perfecting my craft because it's more than just music for me," explained Silva Don. This new track follows previous releases from him, including Badman Movie and Drippy Drippy featuring BadLife.

An EP is slated to be released later this year.
