Twiggi looks to The Most High on new track

Reggae songstress Twiggi has high hopes for her new single, titled Never Let Us Down.

"This song has a very uplifting message that will resonate with people from all walks of life regardless of race, colour, or creed. I believe it has the potential to be a great success, and I would love for it to become an anthem right around the world," she said.

Twiggi says Never Let Us Down was inspired by her faith in The Most High.

"No matter how hard things get, he will never let us down. However, it is not a gospel song; it's a spiritual expression," said Twiggi.

She added: "I'm happy with the response my song is getting. It's receiving support from DJs in several territories including the UK and the US. It's doing exceptionally well in South Florida, where it's currently climbing the charts."

Twiggi, given name Marie Gittens, launched her music career in 1989.
