Khago releases new album

US-based recording artiste Khago has released a new album titled One More Time under the Long Chain Global Production.

This new project shows Khago's level of maturity and versatility as an artiste.

"There is a track for everyone. All the lovers of one-drop, lovers' rock, dancehall and gospel, there is a track for you," Khago said during a recent interview.

"I can't pinpoint a particular song which is a favourite of mine. I love all the tracks, and it's a quality production," he said. "The album is doing well on Amazon Music, and it's buzzing on social media."

While some artistes saw their fortunes dwindling during the global pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus, Khago's musical network has flourished.

"The pandemic made me look at what is really important, focus on what is important in my life, people and choices. Musically, I had a tour that got cancelled. But then I used Facebook to market dubplate sessions that were very profitable. I made a significant amount of money that I never expected; more than I made the year before without a pandemic," he said.

Khago's rise to stardom came in the early 2010s with tunes like Nah Sell Out and Blood A Boil.
