JahDon educates about the ‘Spliff’
Reggae artiste JahDon released the official music Video for his single Spliff on Monday.
The short film-style video is the fifth visual instalment off his 2020 album 369. It was shot and directed by Ray Bailey Films in South Florida during the artiste's four-month promotional campaign for his album in the US.
The 'weed anthem' advocates for the social acceptance of marijuana consumption and challenges other generally accepted yet dangerous practices, such as cigarette smoking and drinking alcohol.
JahDon attempts to utilise his platform to educate the masses about the stigmas of marijuana while bidding an ode of appreciation and celebration to its connoisseurs.
"Well Spliff is not just a song, it's a chant that captured the vibration of a plant that connects to the human brain. And since Jamaica produces the best herbs in the world, we are capitalising on the healing nature of it," JahDon said.
